This method is recommended if:

• you are lightening your hair permanently for the first time.
• your previous lightening completely grown out.
  

Keep the protective clothing and the gloves on. Immediately apply the prepared lighten- ing mixture strand after strand on the whole hair and distribute it evenly to ensure all hair is evenly covered. Leave to develop 30–45 minutes.

This method is recommended if your hair is lightened permanently and a regrowth is visible. Keep the protective clothing and the gloves on. Part a section of your hair using the tip of the applicator bottle. Apply the mixture along the parting by distributing it on the roots with your ngertips (leave supplied gloves on). Repeat this procedure for the whole regrowth area. Ensure all regrowth is evenly covered. Leave the mixture on for 30 to 45 minutes until the whole regrowth shows nearly the same lightening result as the rest of the hair.

If necessary, dampen ends and spread mixture onto the rest of the hair. Then work it gently in to ensure even distribution and leave mixture for another 2–5 minutes.

For a streaked color effect (3), you will need aluminum foil strips, a bowl and an applicator brush and your protective gloves. Make sure that the brush and bowl are nonmetallic and are used only for coloring hair. Squeeze the required amount of color cream into the bowl.

Before rinsing your hair, put on the gloves again. At the end of the processing time, apply warm water to the hair and work into a lather. Then rinse out thoroughly until water runs clear.

Before conditioning your hair, put the gloves on. Apply the color after treatment on your towel-dry hair and comb it to ensure an even application. Leave it for up to 3 minutes and then wash out. It will leave your hair noticeably smoother and with a nice cool blond.
