Conditioners, Cures & Co.: How to Design your Personal Special Hair Care

Shampooing and rinsing is not enough for every hair. Hair often needs a little extra care. There certainly is no lack of offerings: rinses, cures, split end repair fluids and thermosprays promise luster and supple flow. However, what can the individual products do and which one is right for your hair type? That’s what we want to let you know right here

Healthy shiny hair – is there anyone who would not love to have it? Most people use a rinse or conditioner after shampooing their hair to have shiny hair. Conditioners work like protective covers for every individual hair. They also cover the outer dandruff layer with an ultra-thin film after it has been roughed up through rubbing and washing. The conditioned hair is easier to untangle and is less likely to react badly to curling, hair dryers and styling. Rinses or conditioner also prevent flyaway hair in the cold season.

Dependent on the formulation, rinses or conditioners contain silicon, proteins or plant oils. Gently massage the conditioner into your hair after shampooing and leave it in your hair for a very short time. There is no way around rinsing the hair extensively after conditioning. Your hair will otherwise go limp in no time. A leave-in spray conditioner may be the best alternative for people who are in a hurry. Leave-in spray conditioners are somewhat lighter but they will condition your hair just as well.

The New Conditioners and Cures Work Lightning Fast

Would you like a little more? You probably need a hair cure with especially effective ingredients. You may use these cures once a week or more frequently as indicated. The lightweights among these cures are the so-called rinse treatments or 2-minute intensive treatments or cures. Badly damaged hair should be pampered with a deep repair hair cure.

By the way, today’s preparations are all lightning fast. The leave-in times range from one to five minutes. Especially light direct repair treatments come mostly in spray or liquid form. These preparations remain in the hair. The active ingredients in these hair cures are customized to your needs. Argan and Macadamia oils make split ends smoother, panthenol and apricot oil protect the color in dyed hair from fading and briar rose quenches the thirst of dry hair.

Some specialized conditioners for unusual care requirements are quite clever. Care products for the split hair repair will combine split ends until the next shampooing. Anti-frizz lotions tame unruly hair, heat-protection serum guards against the heat of hair dryers and the attraction created with shimmer sprays is irresistible.
