Five minute Monday morning hairstyles

We know what it’s like to roll out of bed late in the morning, only to stare into the mirror at an out-of-control head of hair. Lucky for you, you don't have to resort to throwing your hair into a plain old pony. We have options for hairstyles you can throw together in five minutes or less. So go ahead, sleep in. These quick and easy styles will have you well-rested and looking totally put together. Even on a Monday morning.

A barely there wave is really easy, and always on-trend. First, mist your hair with water and pull your strands up into a centered ponytail at the crown of your head. Twist and wrap the tail around the elastic into a loose bun and secure it with bobby pins. Then, blow-dry it in place for a few minutes to set the style. Once you unravel your hair and take the ponytail down, your tresses will have a soft wave to them.

A classic knot is simple and sleek, and the perfect style to go with a bold lipstick. To get the look, part your hair in the center and brush back the sides into a smooth, low ponytail at the nape of your neck. Next, twist the tail tightly and wrap it around the elastic to create a slick bun, tucking the ends of the tail behind the bun. Secure it with bobby pins, and you've got the perfect chignon.

A bombshell pouf is a quick way to add a little glam to an otherwise drab morning. Start by sectioning off the top midsection of your hair between your temples. Tease that hair, then lightly brush it back to smooth it out and maintain volume. Gather and clip it near the crown of your head, so it's out of the way for a few minutes. Next, brush the sides of your hair — the section between your ears and temples — straight back into a half-ponytail. Bring the poufed section together with the rest of the half ponytail, then pin everything into place with bobby pins. Spritz your pouf with Schwarzkopf styliste ULTIME Biotin+ Volume Hair Spray to set the style and tame flyaways.

A French twist is another classic style that takes just minutes. Start by teasing your hair in sections, paying special attention to the top and back layers. Next, gently brush your hair back, letting a few pieces fall forward. Make sure not to flatten your locks in the process. You need the volume in back to secure your hair into the twist. Tightly twist your hair and tuck the ends underneath, securing with bobby pins. Finish with Schwarzkopf styliste ULTIME Crystal Shine Hair Spray for hold.

A faux bob is a great style for curly hair. If your curls are a bit unruly, use a one-inch curling iron to softly curl the hair framing your face. Next, put your hair up in a super-loose ponytail so that the front drapes down right at chin-level. Then twist the ponytail and roll it under, right at the nape of your neck. Tuck it in so you can't see the hair and secure it with a few bobby pins.

Schwarzkopf has you covered on those mornings when you need a few extra minutes of beauty sleep. With the styliste ULTIME line and our five minute style guide, Mondays never looked so good.
